Prepaid Broadband Internet
If we have installed a WiFi Hotspot Zone in your neighbourhood (refer to our WiFi Hotspot Location list), you may be able to connnect to it from a distance "with a little help" using our eTime USB WiFi modem.
eTime is rolling out a number of WiFi Hotspot Zones within the Greater George and Mossel Bay areas to provide the general public with access to "value-for-money", fast broadband internet using our hotspot ticket system.
Although the traditional WiFi Hotspot is designed
to provide localised coverage within a building at a designated venue, we are providing a fairly large Outer Zone which can extend up to a few hundred meters depending on the localised building clutter and possible signal interference.
Question : How do I know this will work for me?
If you have a WiFi-enabled laptop, simply search for available WiFi networks, if you pick up and eTime WiFi hotspot without the modem but
cannot establish a connection (because your laptop uplink is too weak) then chances are good that by plugging our eTime USB WiFi modem
you will be able establish the link, and thereby accessing the internet by using our eTime hotspot tickets.

The eTime USB WiFi modem may be all you need to get you connected to our wireless hotspot.
